1. Background
First and foremost the partnership project proposal was submitted to BAI in September 2020 in order to establish a partnership and collaboration between Hawassa University (HU) one of the first-generation universities in Ethiopia & Book Aid International (BAI) one of the UK-based premier international books donor organization across the world and works in partnership with over 100 organizations in more than 25 countries worldwide.
It is apparent that in 2021, Book Aid International has donated brand new educational books with an estimated price of ETB 3.1 million, and the books have been distributed to target beneficiaries via BAI-HU Partnership Project throughout Sidama National Regional State.
