የሲዳማ ሙዚቃ ንጉስ በመባል የሚታወቁት የነፃነት ታጋይ አርቲስት አዱኛ ዱሞ፣ ዛሬ መስከረም 08 ቀን 2013 ዓ.ም በተማሪዎች ምርቃት ላይ የሀዋሳ ዩኒቨርስቲ የክብር ዶክትሬት አበርክቶላቸዋል።

6 ሺህ 793 ተማሪዎችን ቅዳሜ መስከረም 08/2014 ዓ.ም ያስመረቀው የሐዋሳ ዩንቨርስቲ፣ በዕለቱ በሁሉም ዘርፍ በሙዚቃ የህዝብ ባለውለታ ለሆነው ለአርቲስት አዱኛ ዱሞ የክብር ዶክትሬት አበርክቷል።

የክብር ዶክትሬት የሚበረከትላቸው የሲዳማ ሙዚቃ ንጉስ አዱኛ ዱሞ፣ ከ1960 ዎቹ መጨረሻ ጀምሮ ከ12 አልበም እና ከ500 ሙዚቃዎች እንዳሉት የህይወት ማህደሩ ያሳያል።

አርቲስቱ ከሲዳማ እስከ ሞቃዲሾ ተጉዞ ስለነፃነት፣ ሀገር፣ እኩልነት፣ ፍቅር፣ እናት፣ ተፈጥሮ፣ ፍቼ ጫምባላላ በአጠቃላይ በሲዳማ ባህልና ታሪክ እንዳሁም መልክአ ምድሩን በሚያምር ድምፁ ሳይታክት ከአራት አስርት ዓመታት በላይ አቀንቅኗል ዛሬም ተተኪዎችን እያፈራ በስራው እንደቀጠለ ነው።

የሀዋሳ ዩንቨርስቲ ተግባር የሚበረታታና ሌሎች ጀግኖችንም ለማፍራት የሚያነሳሳ ነው።
