New refugee crisis in Ethiopia’s Tigray region. Militias from the neighbouring region of Amhara are forcibly removing 10,000s of people claiming the land belongs to Amhara. Amhara officials claim the disputed lands, equal to about a quarter of Tigray, were taken during the nearly three decades that the TPLF ruled.
