First of all, blogs/websites always aim to retrieve and disseminate informative, entertaining, enlightening, and educational content based on common factual information that can be shared, as well as analysis of social, economic, and political issues. It is used as an effective tool to “market” libraries and information services, activities, resources, and even librarians, academics, and researchers.

Librarians can obviously use blogs to disseminate professional, academic, and general information, or use them as an online website to disseminate information, thus sharing information and factual knowledge with the public.

Based on the content above, I adopted my image online via the professional blog/website launched in 2017. The current title is 21st Century Information Retrieval and Dissemination Network Professional Blog / Website. As a librarian and information professional in the 21st century, my mission or intention is to establish an international network with professional colleagues, scholars, books, and other educational materials (IT facilities) donor organizations to build communities and promote my respective parent institution, namely the Hawassa University.

Promote projects and activities, as well as important information that you think, will be made public in academia, to raise their awareness of the use of resources.

The themes of the 21st Century Information Retrieval and Dissemination Network include stories that focus on current technologies, innovations, and initiatives in your field. You can also write various topics on social, economic, cultural, and political issues based on factual information. This voluntary work will develop your expertise, provide opportunities for national and international networks, and expand your expertise to reach the target audience of @Home and @International.

I hope that this 21st-century professional information retrieval and dissemination blog/website will not only become an excellent publicity tool to promote the library and information science, but also build credibility among peer institutions and staff, and establish the identity & visibility of the Hawassa University in the surrounding communities And popularity, both domestically and internationally.
